WICHY Organic Coconut Milk is produced from the emulsion extracted from the endosperm (kernel) of matured organic coconuts. It is extracted using mechanical pressing and is blended with stabilisers and emulsifiers to maintain proper consistency. Packed in hermetically sealed food grade metal cans to achieve commercial sterility, the milk is prepared from organically certified coconuts and processed under EU, NOP and JAS organic processing guidelines as well as ISO and BRC food safety guidelines.
WICHY Organic Coconut Milk is available in different fat contents: 6%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 17% and 22%. Conventional products are also available in the above fat levels.
WICHY Organic Coconut Milk is mainly used in the preparation of tropical cuisines. It is one of the most flavoursome milks, a healthy and vegan alternative to cow’s milk. Ideally suited as a culinary base, it is perfect for curries, soups, sauces, drinks and desserts.
Shake well before use as coconut milk tends to solidify under low temperatures.
